I’m Melanie.
Hi, I’m Melanie. The heart behind Winter Willow Photography.
For more than 15 years, I’ve been capturing the beautifully ordinary moments that families and couples never want to forget. My photography is relaxed, gently guided and centred around genuine connection, so you’ll never be expected to know how to pose or perform for the camera.
As a mum of three, I understand that life with little ones can be wonderfully unpredictable. There’s no pressure for perfect behaviour or fixed smiles; we’ll embrace the laughter, movement and little in-between moments that make your story uniquely yours.

We’ll choose the right experience, location and timing for your story. You’ll receive gentle guidance beforehand, so you feel prepared without having to plan everything alone.
DURING YOUR SESSION
There’s no pressure to perform or know how to pose. I’ll gently guide you while leaving space for laughter, movement, affection and all the wonderfully unpredictable moments in between.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
Your photographs will be carefully selected and individually edited in my signature style before being delivered through a beautiful private online gallery for you to enjoy.
